Market Entry Plan for a Renewable Energy Company into Latin America
Strategic market entry plan for wind and solar in high-opportunity regions.

Challenge
GreenFuture Energy sought to expand beyond its saturated home market into Latin America’s high-potential renewable energy sector. The region offers abundant natural resources and supportive policies, but presents challenges including fragmented regulatory frameworks, infrastructure gaps, and political risk. Without a structured, data-driven approach, the company risked inefficient market entry and misallocated resources.

Project Brief & Statement Of Work
A project brief is a high-level overview that explains the purpose of the project, the problem it addresses, its objectives, scope, key stakeholders, constraints, and measures of success, essentially setting the strategic direction. The statement of work (SOW) builds on this by detailing exactly how the project will be delivered, outlining the approach, tasks, deliverables, timeline, governance, and responsibilities to turn the vision into a clear execution plan.

Project Kick-off Deck
The Kick-off Deck is a short presentation used to formally launch the project, align stakeholders, and set expectations. It outlines the agenda for the meeting, project goals, scope, timeline, and agreed ways of working. The deck also includes a RACI matrix to define roles and responsibilities, a communications plan for regular updates, and an initial risk log to ensure early awareness of potential challenges.
Discovery Deck
The Discovery Deck sets out the approach to gather the right data and insights at the start of the project. It defines the purpose of discovery, lists data requests, outlines stakeholder interviews and sample questions, and lays out a desk research plan. It also maps current-state processes and capabilities, frames hypotheses through an issue tree, and identifies immediate next steps. This ensures the strategy is grounded in evidence and aligned with client priorities.
